Internal Information: Training and Development

On-going HR training programs:

  • New Employee Orientation:  Topics covered include: overview of CCC, workplace ergonomics, compensation, safety and security, parking, purchasing and sexual harassment prevention.  Contact HR for more information.
  • Hiring Committee Orientation:  This training is required for all selection committee.  The training orients committee members on College procedures, hiring legal issues and effective screening and  interview techniques.
  • Effective Performance Appraisals: Offered annually, this session is for both employees and supervisors.  Tips and research is shared on how to conduct appraisals effectively.  The College's process is also reviewed.

CCC/NAU Cooperative Training Agreement:
